Chenille: Incredibly soft, fuzzy yarn that stand out around a velvet cording. Derived from the French word for catapillar. Great for home accessories, and clothing. Available in rayon and cotton. Cotton is preferred for washcloth accessories.

Qualities: This yarn "wormed" badly, twisted as it was knitted. I gave up hand knitting chenille till I found other sources. It has been discontinued but I have seen it available on Ebay and other outlets. This yarn is being reviewed due to its availability. Unfortunately I do not recommend this yarn.

We have Lions Chenille Thick and Quick® yarn on the needles, a review will come next month on this yarn. It is heavy weight category 6 and 100% rayon.
